The mission of Columbia High School, a premier Center of Excellence for Forensic Studies and Life Academy located in the heart of Huntsville’s diverse and technologically-advanced research and science community, is to prepare students to excel and to assume vital and active roles in a free society, using their acquired critical thinking skills and global knowledge to embark on a mission of life-long learning, soaring through a system that emphasizes high expectations and the realization of individual goals and dreams, and utilizes dynamic, inquiry-based instruction and research achieved in partnership with students, educators, families, and the community.
